What is Rebirthing Breathwork?

Rebirthing Breathwork Mastery (RBM) is a style of Breathwork, founded by Alakh Analda. It is a body and breath process, and when combined with meaningful intentions, can create positive, embodied change to the areas in life you most want to make a difference to.

What is the breathing technique in Rebirthing Breathwork

In Rebirthing Breathwork, we use a conscious and connected breath, through the nose. Breathing is gentle and relaxed, without any force of pressure.

How does this differ to other styles of breathwork?

Unlike many breathwork styles that activate the sympathetic nervous system (the “fight or flight” response) to trigger a cathartic release, Rebirthing Breathwork engages the parasympathetic nervous system (the “rest and digest” response). This creates a supportive, safe space for deep relaxation and self-directed transformation. The focus isn’t on emotional release; rather, it honours all experiences, from gentle restoration to shifting limiting beliefs at a core level.

In Rebirthing Breathwork, the facilitator provides professional support, but the process remains led by your body’s wisdom and intuition, allowing each session to unfold at your own pace.

How are the sessions held?

Rebirthing Breathwork sessions can be experienced both online (via Zoom) and in person, either 1:1 or in small groups.

In group sessions, the shared energy can amplify each participant’s experience, creating a collective resonance. In contrast, 1:1 sessions offer a more private, personalised space, tailored to your unique intentions and needs.

What can I expect in a session?

Every session is unique and reflects your personal intention. Experiences can range from subtle relaxation and restoration to inspiration, expansion or profound transformation.

1:1 sessions typically last 2.5 hours, starting with intention-setting, followed by a 90-minute breathwork session and time to debrief for integration. Group sessions last about 3-3.5 hours and follow the same structure.

Are there any contraindications in Rebirthing Breathwork?

Rebirthing Breathwork is accessible to everyone, regardless of age, mental or physical health. It is safe to practice at any stage of pregnancy or postpartum.
